Welcome, CurlFriends! I’m Bailee Woods, a proud graduate from the Paul Mitchell Parisian Beauty Academy who has been utterly captivated by the world of curls since high school! From the gentle sway of beachy waves to the vibrant allure of juicy kinky coils, I live and breathe for all things curls.
My journey into this realm became more serious in 2021 when my once-luscious curls took a hit, transforming into what felt like brittle paper straws from being over processed by color. Determined to reclaim their vitality, I delved deep into crafting a personalized hair care routine that breathed life back into my curls. Along this path, I encountered the all-too-common struggle of finding a stylist who truly understood the delicate needs of curly hair, especially during color treatments. That pivotal moment sparked my mission to fill that gap in the curly hair community.
While acquiring my cosmetology license I assisted at a cozy salon in Middlesex, where I was first immersed into the hair care world. First thing I learned is that there is a story that lies beneath each head of hair I get to style.
Once I graduated I had the intense desire to learn all about the intricacies of curly hair, and the perfect place to do so was at the JoeMiguel Salon. I was able to hone in on my skills under the guidance of the esteemed Joe. His techniques and meticulous processes became my compass in preserving the health of curls and helping all curly friends achieve their hair care goals.
