Vicky C.
Our amazing Curl Artist and Master Colorist, Vicky C., has had the opportunity to experience the way beauty is viewed and practiced in different countries which has contributed immensely to her passion to create new looks especially designed for each client. She began her career in 1991 as a teenager in the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo. Vicky C. humbly began her career as a Stylist Assistant while she studied Beauty Techniques at the Labor University of Uruguay where she obtained her Cosmetology License. Since a very young age, Vicky always found a love for the art of hair. She began helping at her mother’s best friend’s salon and admired the different looks the stylists would achieve with popular haircuts, beautiful color changes and fashionable styles as they change with the trending times.
Vicky has had the opportunity to work for the famous Salerm Cosmetics as a Color Tech and achieved her Mastery in Color where she educated for the company from 2009 to 2017. She also served a part of style teams in Italy and Mexico before moving her career to the United States, where she represented the company at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for 3 years working for designer, Toni Francesc. Each of these experiences brought out a further fascination to discover the hidden beauty and sensuality of her clients around the world. We are blessed to have an artist with so much worldly experience apart of the JoeMiguel Salon team crafting signature cuts and color styles to bring out the best in our curly community.
