Rebekah
Hi there 🙂 my name is Rebekah Fernandes. I have enjoyed hair for as long as I can remember, either cutting a dolls hair or (unfortunately for little bekah) even cutting my own. My Brazilian parents made a huge effort early on to teach me to embrace my curls and love the beauty that curly hair is, that doesn’t mean we knew how to take care of curls though. It wasn’t until 2018, when I got my first ever curly cut with a Mr. Joe Miguel that I finally started to learn how to properly take care of my hair.
Since then, I’ve had almost every hair color one can imagine. While experimenting with hair colors I was able to embrace my creative side, so I decided to delve in deeper. In October 2021 I started my hairstyling journey by starting cosmetology school at Christine Valmy, and in May 2022 I began assisting my hairstylist Joe Miguel. As I am set to graduate school in November, I am extremely excited to continue learning from Joe and the others stylists on the JM team.
